Shearwater, a master planned community on County Road 210, hosted its second annual Pups and Pints event in February.

The event gives residents an opportunity to come together and support two local animal shelters, while also tasting craft brews from Veterans United Brewery, playing games and having fun with neighbors.

Approximately 250 Shearwater residents attended the 2018 Pups and Pints, which was planned by Dylan Read, Shearwater’s full-time Lifestyle Director.

Vendors included Veteran’s United Craft Brewery, St. Johns County Pet Center, Clay County Animal Care and the St. Augustine Humane Society. Pets R Family Veterinary Hospital sponsored the event.

Throughout the day, seven animals were adopted by residents — three cats and four dogs.
