Flavor Palm Beach, the county’s official restaurant month, began Sept. 1. And this year there are some stylish new spots on the roster.

There are 57 participating restaurants listed on the Flavor website. The dining-deals campaign, which features prix fixe lunch and dinner menus, runs from Sept. 1 through 30. Multi-course lunch menus start at $23, dinner menus at $35.

Some restaurants making their Flavor debut:

• Florie’s, the Four Seasons Palm Beach restaurant by world-acclaimed chef Mauro Colagreco. The Florida-inspired spot will offer a three-course dinner special for $45. Menu options include a local burrata salad starter, wild Florida red grouper with fresh citrus and heirloom tomato and white chocolate mousse with passion fruit sorbet. There’s a $25 wine pairing option as well.

• Jupiter’s 1000 North, the waterfront restaurant co-owned by Michael Jordan. During Flavor, the restaurant will offer a $25 three-course lunch menu from Thursday through Saturday. Menu options include a prawn cocktail starter, grilled market fish with sauteed spinach and kale, a daily dessert selection, plus soft drinks.

• Twenty Twenty Grille, an intimate Boca favorite. An eclectic, four-course Flavor menu will be offered at dinner for $45. Some notable dishes: Colombian chicken soup with baguette and crema, a Brazilian-style smoked chicken and mascarpone coxinha (croquette) with tomato-strawberry jam, smoked pastrami-spiced prime skirt steak, and salted caramel meringue. For an additional $39, you can pair your feast with wine.

"Their menu looks incredible," says Flavor Palm Beach founder and organizer Briana Beaty.

• Hai House, the Chinese-inspired restaurant and takeout spot (called Nice Rice) in Worth Avenue’s Esplanade plaza. The restaurant will offer a $40 dinner menu during Flavor month. Presently, Hai House is open only Friday and Saturday with a limited menu -- with takeout and delivery offered daily at the Nice Rice counter. The restaurant’s Flavor menu is not yet posted.

Flavor enters its 12th year and each year feels new, says the promotion’s founder.

"I make it to every restaurant," Beaty says. "There aren’t any I’m not looking forward to, actually."

Reservations made through the Flavor Palm Beach site benefits Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches. Restaurants pay a promotional fee to take part in the program.
