HAINES CITY — A meeting to discuss low water levels in Lake Hatchineha and the Kissimmee River restoration projects will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Haines City Hall Commission Chambers, 620 E Main St.

The meeting, hosted by U.S. Rep. Darren Soto, D-Kissimmee, will involve the South Florida Water Management District and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. to address citizens’ concerns on the projects.

Members from the Polk County Soil and Water Board, Haines City government, local sportsmen groups and residents are also expected to attend.
