11th Annual Historical Farmall Tractor Show

For the 11th year, Paquette's Farmall Museum, 615 S. Whitney Rd. in Leesburg, hosts a tractor show. The Intentional Harvester Chapter 27 State Show and 5th annual Antique Truck Club of America show is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Saturday. Admission is $15 per person per day, and children ages 9 and younger are free. Kids activities for the weekend include a petting zoo, pony rides and face painting. Join the party in the Show Barn from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday with 50s and 60 music from Annie & the Orphans and dancing, for $20. Tractor pulls are 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The tractor exhibit includes all models. A police escorted tractor parade leaves the grounds at 11 a.m. Friday with groups going to Brownwood in The Villages and downtown Leesburg. Friday 's events include a barbecue dinner from 6 to 9 p.m. The bluegrass band The Baileys performs. Tickets for the dinner and band are $15.

26th Annual South Lake Black Achievers Awards Gala

The South Lake Black Achievers will hold its annual awards gala, Keeping Alive Our Heritage, at 5 p.m. Saturday with a social hour and awards at 6 p.m. Honorees include Dorothea Newsome as Paraprofessional; Dwayne E. Royal Palm Railway Experience

Ride the Golden Triangle Route between Eustis, Tavares and Mount Dora in an air conditioned vintage passenger coach of the Royal Palm Railway Experience, making trips Wednesday through Sunday through March 31. Your ticket buys an all-day ride so you can travel as much or as little as you like. The train makes at least three stops in each city and has a snack car. Cost: Adults age 13 and older, $20.
