The Ocala Police Department is searching for two men accused of raping a woman early Thursday.
According to OPD officials, the victim, 38, told officers she went to the Shell gas station at 1741 S. Pine Ave. to buy cigarettes. As she was leaving the store, a man in a car told her to get in or he would kill her. She said she then was pushed into the backseat of the car. She said there was another man in the car.
The woman told police that the men drove to Grace School at 4410 SE Third Ave. and that she she was repeatedly slapped in the face. She said the driver left the school but pulled off the road not far away, where she was sexually battered by both males. She said they took her out of the car and threw out her clothing and other items. She went to a nearby guard building and asked that someone call 911. The incident was reported at 3:18 a.m. Thursday.
The woman said both men were black. One is approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall, is in his 20s and was wearing a black or gray tank top and blue jeans, and had a short twist hairstyle. The other man is heavy set, stands about 5 feet 11 inches tall, was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, and is in his 40s. He has a tattoo on his right arm.
