Barry Seidel, president and founder of American Property Group of Sarasota Inc., has appointed longtime Sarasota businesswoman Carol Sirard to the position of commercial and hospitality business specialist at his commercial real estate and business brokerage.
Sirard, a Sarasota resident for over 35 years, has owned businesses, operated businesses and bought and sold businesses, and has the experience necessary to help others successfully do the same, according to Seidel.

Hayden Markowitz has joined the St. Armands Circle office of Michael Saunders & Co. Markowitz has a background in property management, vacation rentals and investments. A resident of Siesta Key, he has worked in the real estate field since 2010 and obtained his real estate license six years ago.
Markowitz owns 30A Rental Properties near Destin, in the Florida Panhandle, and before joining Michael Saunders worked as a real estate agent with The Premiere Property Group. He has a bachelor’s degree in legal studies from the University of Central Florida.
Maria Atkins has joined Re/Max Platinum Realty as a broker-associate in the downtown Sarasota office. She has worked in the Sarasota-Bradenton real estate market since 1995, with both residential resales and new homes customers. She especially enjoys working with first-time homebuyers.
