An armed robbery ended with a late Friday shooting inside a Brunswick motel, according to the Glynn County Police Department.

Now officers are searching for three women spotted using the shooting victim's credit cards at businesses in the Waycross area, police said.

Officers were called to the Stay Express Inn and Suites about 11:45 p.m. Friday in reference to a shooting, police said.

The motel at 5323 New Jesup Highway is just northwest of Interstate 95. Police said the victim, who remains unidentified, was shot after a wallet was stolen. No condition report was available on the shooting victim.

Credit cards in that wallet ended up being used over the weekend at various stores in the Waycross area, investigators finding security camera images of three women who were using them, police said. Detectives also found an image of the Ford Flex sport utility vehicle they were using, police said.

Anyone with information on the woman are asked to contact Investigator Brad Butler at the Glynn County Police Department at (912) 554-7802, or the Silent Witness tip line at (912) 264-1333.
