Student recitals

Students in the College of Central Florida Visual and Performing Arts Music program will offer a piano and vocal recital at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Dassance Fine Arts Center at 3001 SW College Road, Ocala. Tree planting

In celebration of Arbor Day, the Marion County Board of County Commissioners and the Ocala Rotary Club will hold a tree planting ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the McPherson Governmental Complex south field, 801 NE 25th Ave., Ocala. “Swan Lake”

The Marion Ballet Theatre will perform "Swan Lake" at 8 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Ocala Civic Theatre, 4337 E. Silver Springs Blvd., Ocala.
