Highland Homes named one of largest builders in country

Lakeland-based Highland Homes has once again made Builder Magazine’s Builder 100 list, ranking it as one of the nation’s largest homebuilders. Highland Homes is ranked No. 75, up five spots from last year’s ranking, thanks to a 12.6 percent increase in closed homes. Highland Homes was founded by father and son Robert J. Adams and Joel Adams in 1996, building homes in communities throughout Central Florida.

Bartow Ford receives prestigious awards

Bartow Ford Company received Ford Motor Company’s highest honor, the President’s Award, for the 20th time and was also named to Ford Motor Credit's list of the Top 100 Dealers in the U.S. for Consumer and Commercial Credit. Representatives from Ford Motor Company and Ford Motor Credit were at the dealership May 15 to make the presentation. Bartow Ford recently celebrated 70 years I business. The President's Award, created in 1998, acknowledges Ford dealerships that provide exceptional service and vehicle buying experiences for customers. For 2017, Bartow Ford is one of 327 dealerships nationally, and only 16 in Florida, to receive the President's Award. Only 18 dealers in the nation, including Bartow Ford, have received the President's Award 20 times.
