A former Deltona church pastor took an unsolicited photo of a woman while she was in his office with his children — and the camera lens was aimed up her dress, deputies said.

Brian "Rick" Kenyon Jr., 31, of Lakeland, was arrested Thursday afternoon on a charge of video voyeurism, according to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.

The case was reported April 24 at the Sheriff's Office's District 4 office in Deltona. The accuser, a 41-year-old woman, told a deputy that Kenyon photographed her while she attended an April 8 service at the Church of Christ of Deltona, 1301 Providence Blvd., sheriff's spokesman Andrew Gant said.

The woman met with Kenyon in his office while his children were there, according to an arrest report. The report also indicated that Kenyon was acting nervous around the woman. With his voice shaking, Kenyon asked the woman to put his youngest child into a car seat. As she bent over to do so, she felt skin against her leg, Gant said.

She turned around and noticed Kenyon was bent over directly behind her while holding his cellphone, the report stated.

The accuser and other members of the church subsequently confronted Kenyon about what he had done and he was removed from the church, Gant said. The report stated that Kenyon admitted to them he had a "pornography problem."

Anyone with any additional information about other incidents involving Kenyon is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 386-736-5961.

Kenyon was released from jail Thursday afternoon after posting $2,500 bail and did not return a phone message Friday.

No one could be contacted at Kenyon's former church.
