Oak Hall continues to add more coaches to its athletic program with the hiring of former Gators Alexandra Puller as new girls lacrosse coach and Kyle Pratt as girls weightlifting coach.
Puller played as a midfielder for UF lacrosse from 2014-17, and takes over a program that has reached the regional finals the previous five seasons. The Eagles graduated 10 seniors, including four-time Gainesville Sun Player of the Year Mason Yonge.
“I am very excited about the opportunity Oak Hall has given me,” Puller said. “I cannot wait to be back in Gainesville and to get started coaching the girls’ lacrosse program.
“I'm excited to start a new chapter of my career in lacrosse and help the athletes be the best, on and off the field.”
Puller will work full-time at Oak Hall, serving as administrative assistant for the Upper School. Former UF teammate Morgan Bracken will serve as an assistant.
Pratt, who was a member of the 2008 Gators national championship football team, owns Muscle Farm locally and works with many of Oak Hall’s football and lacrosse athletes. A decathlete, he is certified as an athletic conditioning specialist and metabolic nutritionist.
“I am very thankful for the opportunity to be the Oak Hall girls weightlifting coach and am looking forward to an exciting season,” Pratt said.
