Hendry County officials said it was the body of 30-year-old Jamal Hubert, who was last seen June 2 in his Clewiston home.

When his relatives reported him missing, they told Hendry County sheriff's authorities that they believed "something to be seriously wrong."

Hendry County deputies are investigating Hubert's death as a homicide, though they have not specified how or when he was believed to have been killed.
