Wreaths Across America fundraiser

A fundraiser to benefit the Wreaths Across America program is set for 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7 at Palm Coast Elks Lodge 2709, 53 Old Kings Road. The program's mission is to place memorial wreaths on the graves of veterans throughout the country on Dec. 14, including the cemetery at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, where about 380 veterans are buried. Cost is $30 per person and includes dinner, dancing, a silent auction and 50/50 drawing. 9/11 Memorial Ride scheduled

The 13th annual 9/11 Memorial Ride & Ceremony will be held, rain or shine, on Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Government Services Building, 1769 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell. Registration is from 8:30-9:30 a.m., with the ceremony at 9:30 a.m. with the police-escorted ride beginning at 10:30 a.m. The ride end and social will be held at noon at Hidden Treasure Raw Bar & Grill, 820 Moody Lane, Flagler Beach. Community Chorus seeks singers

The Community Chorus of Palm Coast will hold and open house meet-and-greet for new and current members from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 156 Florida Park Drive. SPCA offers los-cost pet shots

The SPCA will hold three low-cost pet shot clinics on Saturday, Sept. 14: 9-10:30 a.m. at Ice House Saloon, 810 State St., Bunnell; 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Ace Hardware, 204 St. Joe Plaza, Palm Coast; and 2-3 p.m. at Wickline Park, Flagler Avenue, Flagler Beach. Rabies shots will cost $5; dog 6-in-1 distemper/parvo combo is $10; cat 4-way distemper combo, $10; feline leukemia, $16; bordatella, $12; heartworm testing, $16; and worming, $5.
