1. Music on Main at Lakewood Ranch

Lakewood Ranch’s popular block party concert series returns with the GoodbyEddie band playing classic rock hits. 2. Gazebo Starlight Cinema

Downtown Venice's Gazebo Starlight Cinema series continues with a showing of the 2000 film "X-Men" starring Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen and Halle Berry. 3. Seven dollar Saturdays at Mote in September

Florida residents can have some fun at Mote Aquarium for just $7 every Saturday this September. "This promotion helps us thank our community for supporting our organization throughout the years with this reduced admission price," reads Mote's website. "Part of our mission is not only to conduct groundbreaking research, but also to give back to our community that has given so much to us." 4. 'Young Frankenstein' at Opera House

Sarasota’s “Classic Movies at the Opera House” series continues with Mel Brooks' brilliant 1974 comedy horror film “Young Frankenstein."
