Elijah Lamont Brown, 23, of 7604 Alameda Way in Keystone Heights, was charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm.
The third suspect in an Oct. 5 armed robbery in downtown Gainesville was arrested Friday night on a warrant.
Elijah Lamont Brown, 23, of 7604 Alameda Way in Keystone Heights, was charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm, according to court documents.
Arrested in October were co-defendants Kyle Daniel McCole, 20, of Melrose, and Ryan Andrew Potter, 21, of Keystone Heights.
The incident occurred about 1:57 a.m. at 818 W. University Ave., according to a Gainesville Police Department affidavit.
McCole, Potter and Brown are accused of demanding money and other items from two men. Potter is accused of pulling up his shirt to show a handgun in the waistband of his pants, gripping the gun and telling the men to empty their pockets.
Cash and credit cards were turned over. One of the suspects then punched and kicked one of the victims, according to an arrest report.
Both victims were shown six-person line-ups that included a picture of Potter, who was identified by one of the men.
Meanwhile, a friend of the victims had used a cellphone to record the scene before the actual robbery, police reported. Using the video and Potter’s social media, police identified McCole as one of the suspects.
