The Lightner Museum in St. Augustine will reopen Friday with regular hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, it was announced Monday.
The museum will operate at 25% capacity with timed entries. There is a suggested route for visitors to follow while touring the museum in order to encourage social distancing.
Museum officials said the entire attraction has been “professionally” sanitized and will also offer free gloves and masks to visitors. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the museum.
During the time of quarantine, the first floor of the museum was renovated with new flooring and objects shifted to new locations. Two bathrooms have been renovated and are now open to the public. The gift shop is now located in the former Victorian Village.
