Florida now has 37,439 confirmed cases of COVID-19, according to the Florida Department of Health’s Tuesday morning update. Deaths rose 1,471.

Sarasota County has 395 cases and one more death was reported since Monday, raising the total deaths to 48. Manatee County has 684 cases and added two more deaths, bringing the total to 61.
