The May 8 op-ed piece "Exploiting the presidency" by Cal Thomas is sadly incomplete. It fails to mention the unprecedented exploitation of the presidency by a president currently in office. His violation of the Emoluments Clause is corrupt and unethical.

In addition, he and his family are charging taxpayers for a lifestyle, travel expenses and security on a scale that any prior president would have been ashamed to squander.

Where is the outrage from fiscal conservatives?
