I think I have watched my last NFL football game. It is getting so that I get too upset watching a bunch of prima donnas take a knee or sit on their sorry butts during the national anthem because they chose to follow one person who started it all.

A football game is for entertainment and nothing else. They choose to use it for political reasons or whatever. They have nothing to complain about at a football venue. They got there on a free ride through college, some leaving without their degree only to go to the NFL so they could make tons of money, while the fans bust their butts so they can buy a ticket to see the game.

Shame on you. Shame on the NFL for condoning it. Shame on the owners and coaches for allowing it. I am a military veteran and I am proud of my service to our country, but I'm not proud to watch you sit, kneel or whatever during the anthem.

The national anthem has nothing in it that says anything about slavery or black lives matter or anything political. It's about our flag that flew through the perils of a war and was still waving after the battle. It was a war fought for freedom. Freedom, not just for the North or for the South, but all of America, and that includes blacks, whites and any other Americans in this country.

My advice is put on a different uniform and stand alongside the real players in this country who are defending our country like we did. Then come back and tell me you can still sit or kneel during the anthem. Until then, I've lost interest in watching you use a playground as a whining area.
