Apparently the two young "ladies" running for District 39 state representative don't have anything good or useful to say about themselves.

All I have heard so far is a lot of immature rantings — also known as mudslinging — about the other one. My mother taught me that if I have nothing good to say about someone, don't say anything at all.

What I have learned through experience is that people who don't have anything good to say about themselves resort to saying bad things about others to distract from themselves. So far I haven't heard what either Jennifer Spath or Josie Tomkow intend to do for Polk County or any reason why either would make a good representative.

Tomkow thinks that because her family can afford to mail out a barrage of advertising that people will vote for her. We'll see how this turns out.

There is a lot to be said for experience and maturity. Too bad we don't have any of that going on here.
