Alan Alonso had three hits and drove in all three of Lake-Sumter State College’s runs in a 7-3 loss to St. Johns River on Monday at Tindall Field in Palatka.

St. Johns River built a 7-1 lead through eight innings before LSSC rallied for two runs in the top of the ninth. Tanner Clark had two hits for the Lakehawk.

LSSC falls to 9-18-1 overall with the loss and 1-2 in the Mid-Florida Conference. St. Johns improved to 18-7 overall and 5-1 in the conference.
