HALIFAX SPORT FISHING: The Halifax Sport Fishing Club's seminar on March 22 features guest speaker Steve Grant from Diamond Fishing Products. Grant has been fishing for toothy wahoo off Northeast Florida for over 20 years. He will tell you everything you need to know on how to catch one of the best eating fish in the ocean, from high speed trolling to rigging ballyhoo. All HSFC seminars are free and open to the public. A brief meeting will be at 6:45 p.m., with an open fishing forum at 7:15 p.m. and the seminar at 7:30 p.m. All seminars are held at the Halifax Sport Fishing Club (3431 S. HALIFAX SAILING: Halifax Sailing Association is a nonprofit, all-volunteer, community-based sailing club whose purpose is to bring sailing to Daytona Beach and surrounding communities. Classes are held throughout the summer, teaching basic sailing as well as more advanced courses. It also has races and social events throughout the year. HALIFAX YOUTH SAILING: Halifax Youth Sailing is a nonprofit organization that teaches ages 8-19 how to sail. They sail on the Halifax River at 15 Fremont Court in Daytona Beach at 11 a.m. Saturdays.
