Senior Mark Townsend kicks off Senior Night with leadoff home run

SARASOTA

Mark Townsend hit a leadoff home run to kick off Senior Night for Rams and Riverview edged Palmetto 5-4 on Monday night.

Townsend went 2-for-4 with a homer and two runs scored. Domenic Ciricillo went 2-for-4 and Kevin Szafran went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI for the Rams

Matthew Sullivan went the distance on the mound, giving up seven hits, four earned runs and striking out four in seven innings.
