The Jaguars have ruled out running back Leonard Fournette (hamstring) for today's game against the New England Patriots.

T.J. Yeldon is expected to start in place of Fournette. Corey Grant and Brandon Wilds could also see additional opportunities.

Fournette injured his right hamstring during the second quarter of the Jaguars' 20-15 season-opening victory over the New York Giants. He was injured after catching a short pass from quarterback Blake Bortles and did not return.

Fournette missed three games last season, and the Jaguars won all three. They outscored Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Houston by a combined score of 95-14. The Patriots figure to present a tougher challenge.

Yeldon carried 14 times for 51 yards last week against the Giants.
