Previewing Saturday's game in Gainesville between the 11th-ranked Florida Gators and Tennessee-Martin.

TENNESSEE-MARTIN (1-0) AT NO. 11 FLORIDA (1-0)

BEN HILL STADIUM, GAINESVILLE, 7:30 P.M. (ESPNU)

WHO SHOULD WIN

With Miami out of the way and Florida State the last game of the regular season, the Gators play the first of two non-conference cupcakes of the highest order in the FCS Skyhawks. Theteams will meet for the first time in history, but Tennessee-Martin has recent history against the SEC, losing 51-14 to Missouri last year.

UNDER THE GUN

It's tough to say anyone has anything to prove in a game like this. But as usual, Gators fans would like to see some big plays from quarterback Feleipe Franks and put the game away early. Franks struggled against Miami two weeks ago, after much was made of his late-season run of good games in 2018 meant he was over his inconsistent ways. Not quite yet.

HISTORY LESSON

The Gators are 25-1 since 2000 against teams it plays for the first time and has won 19 such games in a row. UF will have another first-time opponent Sept. 28 against Towson.

WHO’S NOT PLAYING

Neither team has listed any additional players out.
