"The key was our kids have been in that situation several times over the course of the season, and the kids have responded every time," said Impact Christian coach Benjamin Jones. "The believed they could win, and they found a way to get it done."

Schoolhouse Prep (20-9) scored only two points in the last 5 minutes of the fourth quarter.

"We weren't in the right spots at the right time, so it was hard for us to score with the pressure," said Anthony Lopez Jr., who had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolfpack.

Cedric Saint Jean came off the bench for another 15 points for Schoolhouse, which shot seven for 16 from the foul line. The Wolfpack missed seven of nine free throws in the second half and overtime.

Impact Christian had a chance to win the game in regulation, but Schoolhouse's Jehu Wright blocked a layup by Johnson in the final seconds to send the game into overtime.
