SOFTBALL


Benjamin 9, Jupiter Christian 0


Alex Cohen pitched a complete game with a school record 19 strikeouts and only allowed one hit, while adding three hits, including two triples, and three RBI, as the Buccaneers (3-0) shut out the Eagles in Palm Beach Gardens. Leslie Berg and Katie Hewitt each added two hits, two runs and two RBI, and Taylor Blackshear contributed two hits and two RBI in the win.


Jupiter 15, Stuart-South Fork 1 (5)


Kenleight Smith was 3-for-4 with a triple, a home run and seven RBI, and Marisa Mellone pitched a no-hitter with four strikeouts, as the Warriors (5-1) rolled over the Bulldogs in Jupiter. Emily Bodenheimer went 2-for-2 with three runs scored in the win.


BASEBALL


Suncoast 8, Lake Worth 0


Gavin Ramos went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored, Matias Sanchez tripled and drove in two, and Jack Stafford pitched six scoreless innings with eight strikeouts, as the Chargers shut out the Trojans in Riviera Beach.


Sebastian River 10, Jupiter Christian 2


Joey Warren went 2-for-3 with a run scored and a stolen base, and Nathan Espinal added hit, a stolen base and an RBI, but the Eagles fell to the Sharks in Sebastian.


BOYS LACROSSE


Benjamin 10, Plantation-American Heritage 5


Trevor Natalie and Joey Berg each scored two goals, as the Buccaneers doubled up the Patriots in Palm Beach Gardens. Brady Quinn contributed four assists in the win, while Dom Devito added one goal and one assist.


King’s Academy 8, Oxbridge Academy 5


Aiden Aitken scored two goals, and Aiden Collier added one goal and one assist, as the Lions defeated the Thunderwolves in West Palm Beach. Reece Riccardo led Oxbridge Academy with three goals and one assist.


GIRLS LACROSSE


St. John Paul II 13, Palm Beach Central 6


Riley Brannon had four goals and three assists, and Ashley Fernandez added three goals with one assist, as the Eagles (4-1) handled the Broncos in Wellington. Emilie Johnson made 11 saves in the win.
